Man Stabbed in 5th Ward Early Friday Morning

PATERSON, NJ - A 21-year-old man was stabbed in the back somewhere near the corner of Park Avenue and Straight Street at about 3:30 am on Friday, police said.
Authorities said officers on patrol spotted the victim and called emergency medical services, which took him to St. Joseph's Regional Medicial Center for treatment. The wound does not appear to be life-threatening, police said.
Police are not sure how the man was stabbed, saying he has been uncooperative with their investigation.
