Friday, November 1, 2013 • 10:45pm

CHATHAM, NJ - Lorenzo Bogado, 56, of Morristown, was charged with numerous violations, including a fictitious license plate, and arrested for outstanding warrants, according to a report by the Chatham Township Police.

On Oct. 30 at 5:22 p.m., officer David Weinert stopped a vehicle on Southern Boulevard after noticing that the front and rear license plates did not match. It was subsequently determined that the vehicle was unregistered, uninsured, displayed fictitious license plates and the driver, Bogado, did not have a valid New Jersey driver’s license.

A computer check revealed outstanding arrest warrants for Bogado totaling $3915.00 in bail.  Bogado was transported to police headquarters and charged with having fictitious plates, having an unregistered and uninsured vehicle, being an unlicensed driver, driving while suspended, no name on a commercial vehicle, and riding on parts unintended.

He was later released to the Bridgewater Police Department.  He is scheduled to appear in the Madison Joint Court on a later date to answer the motor vehicle charges.
