PATERSON, NJ – A Passaic County jury on Friday acquitted a man accused of shooting at an off-duty city police officer during a 2009 robbery, according to a story on northjersey.com.

Lamound Walker was found not guilty of attempted murder, armed robbery and receiving stolen property, but was convicted on two weapons counts, the story said.

Authorities alleged that Walker tried to kill off-duty officer Yuri Polanco during the robbery outside Felix’s auto body shop on 22nd Street, the story said.
