ALTERNATIVE PRESS:

RE; THE MALL AT SHORT HILLS

AS A RETIRED NYC PEACE OFFICER OF 32 YEARS, INVENTOR, MOTIVATOR, POET, I WOULD SUGGEST SOME LONG OVERDUE INNOVATIONS.

I WOULD PLACE ELEVATED MANNED SECURITY KIOSKS AROUND ALL INDOOR GARAGE AND OUTDOOR LOT PARKING.THE HIGHT OF ELEVATION WOULD BE AT YOUR DIGRESSION.

POSSIBLE ADVANTAGES OF ELEVATED MANNED SECURITY KIOSKS.

1) POTENTIAL CRIMINALS WOULD KNOW IMMEDIATELY THAT THEIR UNDER HEAVY SURVEILLANCE.

2)ELEVATED  KIOSKS INCREASE CUSTOMER SAFETY CONFIDENCE.THAT WOULD INCREASE SHOPPING.

3)ELEVATED KIOSKS WOULD PROVIDE SECURITY PERSONNEL GREAT ALL AROUND  AND OVERALL  SUPERIOR  VIEW OF VEHICLES AND CUSTOMERS.

4) THE SECURITY KIOSKS  BEING ELEVATED  WOULD NOT ALLOW THE POTENTIAL FELON TO KNOW IF THE KIOSK IS MANNED. EVEN IF THE KIOSK IS TEMPORALLY UNMANNED THE POTENTIAL FELON WOULD NOT KNOW AND WOULD BE EXTREMELY CAUTIOUS.

CRIME WILL STILL BE WITH US AFTER THE HOLIDAYS SO WE MUST BE AS PREEMPTIVE AS POSSIBLE AND ALWAYS ONE STEP AHEAD.

PLEASE BE ADVISED MY WIFE WLL NOT SHOP AT THE MALL BECAUSE OF FEAR. I HAVE NO VESTED INTEREST IN THIS COMMUNICATION OTHER THAN A PROUD RESIDENT OF SHORT HILLS / MILLBURN.

SINCERELY,

JOSEPH P.MARTINO, MILLBURN, NJ
