Madison's 21st Annual Car Show to be Held October 6, 2012

The Madison Chamber of Commerce and Madison P.B.A. #92 will host their 21st Annual Car Show on Saturday, October 6.  This popular event will run in conjunction with Madison’s downtown Bottle Hill Day street festival.

The Car Show will be held in the parking lot by the Madison Volunteer Ambulance Corps headquarters on the corner of Kings Road and Prospect Street, a short walk from the center of the Bottle Hill Day festivities. 

The show will feature many vehicles in categories such as rods, trucks, customs, antiques, classics and street machines.

"For over twenty years folks from Madison and surrounding areas have enjoyed visiting one of the most unique car shows in the area, right here in Madison New Jersey.   In this, our 21st show, again, we are expecting   thousands of attendees to enjoy the sparkle, shine and spectacle of so many unique automobiles right here in downtown Madison, the rose city." Said Ken Toumey, President of the Chamber of Commerce.

Participants of the show will be eligible to win various awards and door prizes.  Best in Show prize is sponsored by Pine Manor Associates, Painting & Wallcovering Specialists, 22 Drew Place.  The grand door prize is a $500 Stop & Shop Gift Card donated by Stop & Shop, 133 Main Street, Madison.  All car show entrants will be eligible to enter to win.

The chairperson of the event is Peter Daniele of Rose City Collision, 291 Main Street.  “Peter has organized this event since 1990 and it becomes increasingly more successful,” said John Morris, owner of Stewart-Morris Awards, Gifts & Flags.  John is also the vice president of the Chamber of Commerce.

D.J. Wolfman Jerry will provide music of the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s.  Refreshments will be supplied by Madison Fire Department will be available as well as free parking. 

The Car show will begin at 9 a.m. with awards announced at 3 p.m.  To be eligible for judging, all cars must be at the show by 11a.m.

The committee invites all car show enthusiasts to pre-register by September 25 at a reduced fee of $15.  Day of registration will be $20.
