Madison Rotary to Hold Community Shred-It Day, October 15th
Wednesday, October 12, 2011 • 12:00am
The Rotary Club of Madison is happy to announce a repeat of their popular community event: Shred-It Day, which will take place on Saturday, October 15, 2011 in the Provident Bank (Madison) parking lot at 98 Main Street from 1-4 pm.
The public is invited to bring their file boxes of unwanted personal documents no longer necessary to keep
but in need of secure shredding. Watch your documents being shredded
on site on the truck-mounted shredder from Shred-It Inc. of Parsippany.
The cost is $5.00 per box.
This project is the perfect way to be a friend to the environment...all shredded papers will be recycled into other paper products. It also helps you clear some space to store upcoming holiday gifts by uncluttering your closets, files, desks, etc. Every ton of recycled paper uses 64% less energy, 50% less water and causes 74% less pollution than the same quantity of paper produced from virgin wood.
The proceeds from this event will be recycled,
too! The Rotary Club of Madison will dedicate and distribute the funds
to community projects.
