Madison Police Department to Participate in “Operation Take Back New Jersey”

The Madison Police Department in conjunction with the N.J. Drug Enforcement Administration is proud to host Operation Take Back New Jersey on Saturday September 29, 2012 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Citizens are encouraged to bring expired or unwanted medications to the Madison Police Department located at 62 Kings Road, Madison NJ. Officers will be stationed in the lobby collecting these substances in order to properly dispose of and prevent them from falling into the hands of our youth.
This program is anonymous and citizens are asked to remove labels that contain personal information if at all possible. Medications may be left in the original container if desired. Liquid products should remain tightly sealed when discarded. No needles or sharps instruments will be accepted on the day of the event.
All collected material will be disposed of using an environmentally friendly process.
