On February 25, 2013, the Madison Police Department responded to Gary’s Wine and Market Place on report of a shoplifting. A male actor entered the store and took a bottle of vodka. The male is described as white, approximately 5’6 and 150 pounds with blue eyes. He was wearing a blue ball cap, black jacket, and blue jeans. The male left the scene in a white SUV. This investigation has been turned over to the Madison Police Detective Bureau. Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Paul Kosakowski at 973-593-3007.
On March 3, 2013 at approximately 12:30am, Ptl. Sean McCarthy arrested 18 year old Maximilian Miles of Haddonfield, NJ. McCarthy responded to the campus of Drew University on an unrelated incident. While on the campus, McCarthy was notified that Campus Public Safety had an individual detained for allegedly being in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Miles was arrested and charged with possession of under 50 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released pending a court appearance.
On March 3, 2013 at approximately 12:30am, Ptl Anthony Maccario arrested 19 year old Michael Farin of Plano, TX. Maccario responded to the campus of Drew University on an unrelated incident. While on campus, Maccario was notified of an individual who was allegedly intoxicated and belligerent. When Maccario encountered Farin, he became aggressive. Farin was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct. He was released pending a court appearance.
On March 3, 2013 at approximately 9:00am, Ptl Chad Rybka arrested 43 year old Joseph Wnuck of Madison, NJ. Rybka took a report from Wnuck’s former land lord who advised that he had taken several pieces of furniture with a value of approximately $2000. In addition, Wnuck allegedly violated a trespass order while taking the items. Wnuck was arrested and charged with theft and criminal trespass. He was released pending a court appearance.
On March 3, 2013 at approximately 10:20pm, Ptl Matthew Mirabella arrested 23 year old Julianne Fischetta of Madison, NJ. Fischetta responded to police headquarters after being notified of an active warrant for violating a court order. She was arrested on the strength of the Madison warrant. Fischetta was released on her own recognizance pending a court appearance.
On March 5, 2013, Sgt. Craig Perrelli arrested 22 year old Bhima Reddy of Madison, NJ. Perrelli responded to the Central Avenue Laundromat on report of an individual allegedly performing a lewd act. Upon arrival, Perrelli encountered Reddy whom was identified as the actor by a witness. An investigation revealed that Reddy allegedly performed a lewd act while inside the Laundromat. Reddy was charged with lewdness. He was released pending a court appearance.
On March 6, 2013 at approximately 9:00pm, Ptl. Matthew Mirabella arrested 27 year old Corey Demarco of Rockaway, NJ. After performing a random vehicle registration check, Mirabella determined that Demarco’s driving privileges were suspended. He performed a motor vehicle stop and a further records check indicated that there was an active warrant for Demarco’s arrest from Madison Municipal Court in the amount of $190. Mirabella arrested Demarco on the strength of the warrant. He was also issued a motor vehicle summons for driving while suspended. Demarco’s friend posted bail and he was released pending a court appearance.
On March 8, 2013 at approximately 2:00pm, Ptl Vincent Dellavalle arrested 28 year old Christopher Lentz of Marlton, NJ. Lentz allegedly violated a court order which led to a warrant being issued for his arrest. Lentz was arrested on the strength of the Madison warrant in the amount of $5000. He was lodged in the Morris County Correctional facility in lieu of bail. A court appearance is pending.
On March 8, 2013, the Madison Police received a report of theft from an active construction site located at 25 Ridgedale Avenue. According to the complainant, five radiators were taken between the hours of 1:00pm and 2:30pm on the same date. This investigation has been turned over to the Madison Police Detective Bureau. On March 9, 2013 at approximately 10:00pm, Ptl. Christopher Keller arrested 28 year old Shiva Kalyanaraman of Parsippany, NJ. Keller stopped Kalyanaraman’s vehicle for an equipment violation. During his investigation, Keller detected an odor of burnt marijuana emanating from the vehicle. The investigation determined that various items containing marijuana and drug paraphernalia were located inside of the vehicle. Kalyanaraman was arrested and charged with possession of under 50 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was also issued a motor vehicle summons for maintenance of head lamps. Kalyanaraman was released on his own recognizance pending a court appearance.
On March 10, 2013 at approximately 1:00pm, Ptl. James Cavezza arrested 42 year old Robb Moritz of Morris Township, NJ. Moritz was arrested for violating a court order and was released on his own recognizance pending a court appearance.
On March 11, 2013 the Madison Police received a report of criminal mischief on Pomeroy Road. Ptl Michael Minni responded to the area and met with a resident of the block. The complainant pointed out a large area of the street which was painted in red. Anyone having information regarding this incident is asked to contact the Madison Police Department at 973-593-3000.
