Lost Dog Found in Fanwood Remains Unclaimed

Fanwood, NJ February 15, 2013 - A lost Maltese was found wandering on Belvedere in Fanwood this past Wednesday afternoon. A concerned local resident took action and was kind enough to rescue the dog and search for its owners. Apparently, the dog was followed crossing Martine onto MacLennan Place where it was picked up at 3pm.
Both the Scotch Plains and Fanwood police stations were called to inquire about any missing reports on the dog. There were no such reports made.
The dog was then picked up at 5:30 by the Animal Control which is on Range Road in Linden, NJ. Everyone involved in the process was and still remains very kind and considerate over the welfare of the dog and the, as of yet, unknown owner(s).
