SCOTCH PLAINS, NJ -- The 2014 Skating goes to the movies Skatetacular will feature Scotch Plains-Fanwood High School senior James Schetelich, a nationally ranked junior figure skater, at the William G. Mennen Sports Arena in Morristown on Saturday, April 5 from 7 to 9:30 p.m.

“The Skatetacular is a great event,” said Schetelich, 17, who finished in the top 10 at the 2014 U.S. Nationals in Boston among skaters in his age range. “I've learned that one of the main reasons I skate is that I love performing in front of audiences, and this is a great place to do that."

Proceeds from this event will benefit the New Jersey Figure Skating Foundation in its support of the New Jersey Council's scholarship and grants programs. The Skatetacular event is sanctioned by United States Figure Skating.

Tickets are available online now at www.eventbrite.com. Advance tickets: General Admission $15 and groups of ten or more: $10. Tickets purchased at the door on April 5 will be $20 each (cash only).
