FANWOOD, NJ - Carolyn Ann Ryan Photography announced on Thursday that it has joined a network of professional photographers working with Magic Hour Foundation to provide charitable portrait sessions to families of cancer patients and survivors.
“Families deserve beautiful images of the ones they love, most especially those who are battling difficult illnesses such as cancer,” said owner Carolyn Ann Ryan.
Magic Hour Foundation’s vision states that “Family and memories are two of the most valuable treasures in life. They should be celebrated in the present and captured for the future.”
Ryan hopes that by joining with Magic Hour Foundation she can help to support that vision by providing cancer fighters the ability to celebrate their lives through photography.
“I’ve lost family to cancer and wanted to do something like this but it’s tough to do this as one person,” said Ryan. “I was at a tradeshow, and Magic Hour Foundation had a tiny little booth and I saw them just before I went out the door. They just started in 2012 and they already have a network of professional photographers across the country willing to make their skills available. They want a larger network so no one photographer would be overwhelmed with requests.”
Families would apply through the Magic Hour Foundation website and then once they are approved they are connected to a photographer. After the photo session, the photographer uploads the gallery to the Foundation website for the family to view.
“Everyone involved with the Foundation has lost a family member to cancer, and I am thrilled to be a part of this network – it really is beautiful,” said Ryan. “I want to make sure that families fighting cancer have family portraits.”
“We’re thrilled to have photographers the caliber of Carolyn Ann Ryan in our network,” said Alan Darmody, Founder and CEO of Magic Hour Foundation. “We are blessed to offer this service to cancer warriors that need a few added blessings in their life.”
