The students of The Early School of Temple B’nai Abraham were treated to a visit from local children's author, Julia Frankel.  Ms. Frankel delighted the students with reading her three-book series, Silly Daddy Goes to the Supermarket, Silly Daddy and the Pet Goat and Silly Daddy and the Big Weed. Whimsical and charming illustrations are by Chelsea Lane, a Boston illustrator. Julia, a Livingston resident and TBA member, immediately captured the student's attention and engaged them in discussion by sharing her imaginative and interactive books on her I-pad.  “All the stories I wrote were inspired by true life experiences with my kids,” she said. Frankel is not lacking for material with five children and a silly husband of her own. Her children range in age from 25 to 15 years old for whom The Silly Daddy series were originally written.
