LIVINGSTON, NJ – Three plead guilty in Livingston Municipal Court on Thursday, Sept. 26.

The first case was brought up by the Essex Regional Health Commission.  In this case, 194 Park Ave Partners LLC., based in South Orange was charged with failing to register one category II fuel burning unit.

194 Park Ave Partners LLC pled guilty and was given a $750 fine plus $33 court cost.

 

Eric Thompson, a Parsippany resident was charged with a DWI, giving false information to a police officer, driving with an expired license and careless driving.

All charges except the DWI were dismissed as part of plea agreement.

Thompson was sentenced to pay a $306 fine, plus $33 court cost, $50 to the Victims of Crime Compensation Organization, $75 to the Safe Neighborhood Fund and a $200 DWI surcharge.  He will also lose his license for seven months, be required to complete 12 hours at the Intoxicated Driver’s Resource Center and possess an interlock device in his vehicle for six months.

 

Davon Edward, a resident of East Orange was charged with a DWI, unsafe lane change and careless driving after being pulled over by a state trooper on 280.

The latter two charges were dismissed as part of a plea bargain and Edward pleaded guilty to the DWI.

Edward was sentenced to pay a $306 fine, plus $33 court cost, $50 to the Victims of Crime Compensation Organization, $75 to the Safe Neighborhood Fund and a $200 DWI surcharge.  He will also lose his license for seven months, be required to complete 12 hours at the Intoxicated Driver’s Resource Center and possess an interlock device in his vehicle for one year.
