Did your New Year’s resolutions include uncluttering your life? Are you starting to get stressed about filing your income tax return? If you answered yes to either of these questions, Livingston Library has programs for you! If you missed the first program in January, be sure to note this one on Thursday, February 21, 2013.
Professional Organizer Amara Willey returns for another timely program, “Organize Your Paperwork for Tax Time, ” at 7:30 on the 21st. She won’t tell you how to file your tax return, but you’ll learn how to easily gather tax records for 2012, how to get a jump-start on organizing 2013 tax documents, and how to manage tax record storage. Organizing your tax records, information and finances at the last minute can be a real headache. Just as Amara rolls up her sleeves to organize homes and offices, she can demonstrate how busy people bring order to their files, tax records and papers.
The program is free and open to all. Reservations are not required.
Please note that Livingston Library gets IRS tax forms and instructions to distribute every year. Forms for 2012 filing are delayed, due to new tax laws passed late in the year. Announcements will be made as soon as forms are delivered to the Library. Also note than the State of New Jersey does not send tax forms to libraries.
