Library Media Center at West Orange High School Selected for New Jersey State Library/New Jersey Library "Snapshot Day"

WEST ORANGE, NJ - The West Orange High School Library was selected to be part of The New Jersey Library Roadshow, an addition to NJ’s annual Snapshot Day, on October 24, 2012.
Photos, videos and info were collected to showcase innovative outreach efforts in public, school, academic and other special libraries across the Garden State.
Snapshot Day was begun in 2009 as a joint effort of the New Jersey State Library and the New Jersey Library Association. The project highlights the impact that Libraries have on students, schools, and communities on any given day. The project has expanded to 30 other states and received the 2011 American Library Association President’s Advocacy Award. It was also adopted by the American Library Association as a national program.
