DOVER, NJ - Peter Alessandria, Dover NJ-based photographer and former entertainment attorney, will have a solo exhibition of his work at the New Providence Memorial Library, located at 377 Elkwood Ave., New Providence, NJ 07974, , from May 3 throug June 6.

Alessandria left a successful law career in 2008 to pursue his passion for photography. Since then he has developed a exciting, award winning body of work. His photos have been featured in a number of shows and exhibitions around the New York/New Jersey area.

The New Providence Memorial Library exhibit will include images from several different collections including landscape, seascape and still life photos. Alessandria uses his camera to create his own photographic art. “I use a photo as the jumping off point to create my own unique brand of digital art. I see each scene twice: once through my camera and then again through my computer screen. I use the tools of modern digital photography to make each image my own,” Alessandria said.

His work can be seen at www.peteralessandriaphotography.com The show will be on the library’s main level. For hours of operation, please visit the library’s website at www.newprovidencelibrary.org or call (908) 665-0311.
