BERKELEY HEIGHTS, NJ - La Belle Boutique celebrated its grand opening Saturday evening welcoming family, friends and clients to their new full service boutique in Berkeley Heights. Mayor Joe Bruno was in attendance with the honor of cutting the ribbon to welcome the newest business to town.

La Belle Boutique is a family owned and operated full service bridal boutique offering a cutting edge selection of beautiful gowns in all price ranges, sizes and colors for every member of the wedding party.  The boutique originally opened in Jersey City 45 years ago. The business began as a mother's love that was passed down to her daughters, Virginia Calabrese and Louisa Monserrate.

"I want to welcome La Belle to Berkeley Heights," said Mayor Bruno. "Our town is growing by leaps and bounds in the past few years and it keeps on growing.  It is up to our community that we support the businesses.  I think this is a winner, because we don't have anything with fine dresses." said Bruno. "Congratulations."

The boutique has a widespread following from word of mouth. "We are known for our magic wand," said Monserrate, who lives in New Providence. The sisters treat each bride as if it were their sister or daughter getting married.

Calabrese and  Monserrate bring their family business to Berkeley Heights and the surrounding community to provide dresses for bridal parties and prom fashion. La Belle has supplied the New Providence Prom Fashion Show with their dresses and are looking forward to working with the community through their newly opened Berkeley Heights location.

The boutique is set up for their opening "Prom Bash" event that is being held on Sunday, April 13 from noon to 5 p.m.

La Belle Boutique is located at 457 Springfield Avenue, Berkeley Heights. Call (908)464-4100 for store hours and event information.
