Kessler Rehabilitation Center (www.kessler-pt.com) has donated $4000 to the Hurricane Sandy New Jersey Relief Fund to help support the many communities throughout the state that were impacted by the October storm and its aftermath.
“This donation was made in honor of the many physicians across the state who work with us to ensure the health and recovery of individuals following a stroke, orthopedic trauma, musculoskeletal injury or sports- and work-related injuries. We felt that by contributing to the Relief Fund, we would similarly help to improve the health and recovery of our local communities as they begin the rebuilding process,” explained Bill Anastassatos, President of Kessler Rehabilitation Center.
Kessler Rehabilitation Center has more than 80 locations throughout the state, many of which were impacted by the storm. “Several of our centers were closed due to flooding and power outages, and many of our employees and their families also experienced significant damage to their homes. But given our strong ties to our local communities, we’ve worked tirelessly to restore services and help get everyone back on their feet,” added Anastassatos.
The Kessler centers that were open offered charging stations for area residents to power up their electronic devices and refreshments.
