Juxtapose Gallery of Westfield is hosting a Silent Auction for Greta's Run.

Greta Schoenemann's Aunt, Mel DeLonge, is an established artist. Her works in 'pen & ink' depict local landmarks and homes from across the United States. For the inaugural edition, DeLonge has drawn 'The Rialto Theatre,' a cherished feature of Greta's childhood in Westfield with her friends and family.

Gallery Owner Gerri Gildea has graciously donated the frame and will display the piece for a Silent Auction. All proceeds from the sale of 'Greta's Favorite Place' will be donated to Greta's Run.

To bid, visit or call: Juxtapose Gallery.

58 Elm Street Westfield, NJ
Tel: 908-232-3278
Hours: Mon, Tues, Wed, Fri, Sat 10-5:30pm. Thurs 10-6:30.

Auction open from October 1st to Saturday October 19th.

Melanie Anderson DeLonge grew up within a large artistic family in Westfield, NJ. She began her career with Barrett Real Estate Co in 1970 and continued drawing for them for over 30 years, first with their New Jersey office and then, after moving north in 1973, with their Grafton, Vermont office. Greta's Run is a 5k Run/Walk & Fundraiser organized in memory of Greta Schoenemann, a WHS freshman who died from injuries sustained on 9/11/02 when a tree limb fell on her and a table of friends as they ate lunch. Founded by Greta's childhood friends Ben Nanna and Jayne Ruotolo, all proceeds will benefit new and existing special needs programs at the Westfield Area Y. It's a gesture that would be close to Greta's heart because her sister Elise has Cerebral Palsy. To learn more about Greta's Run, visit the website.
