JLOSH Opens Team Building Seminar
Saturday, January 5, 2013 • 5:52pm
Community groups and interested individuals are being invited to a seminar on effective team building, hosted by the Junior League of the Oranges and Short Hills (JLOSH) next Saturday, January 12.
The presentation, 'Team Building: Connecting and Communicating with your Team,' tackles the many challenges of working in groups, such as enabling all members to share their talents and juggling different levels of commitment to ensure the team's full potential can be reached. It will be led by management coach Jacquelyn K. Wieland, president of Solutions Provided, and will include interactive exercises showing how to recognize the differences in team dynamics, personality and communication skills, and how they relate to interacting more effectively.
JLOSH President Kate Lee says: "This event is just one of the ways we train volunteers to work with great impact in our community, and by opening it to others we are hoping to spread the benefit even wider."
The session, which is free, starts at 9 a.m. with coffee and bagels and runs until
11.30 a.m. at Far Brook School, 52 Great Hills Road, Short Hills. Rain date Sunday, January 13.
