SCOTCH PLAINS, NJ – The JCC of Central New Jersey held its annual themed fundraiser Saturday night at Shackamaxon Country Club to benefit the JCC Senior Adult Services Department.
The theme of the 80’s was created through decoration, costumes and music. Guests enjoyed drinks, dinner, a Live Auction and a Silent Auction.
“It was a great evening,” said Mitch Harris, member of the JCC. “It was fun to reminisce about the 80’s, see all the costumes, listen to the 'High in the Mid 80's' band and raise money for a good cause.”
The Adult Services Department provides many services to seniors, including the Senior Social Program which meets three days per week. Round-trip, door-to-door transportation to the JCC is available Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday for most senior residents of Union County.
