FAIRFIELD, NJ - The New Jersey Lottery's motto is "Give your Dreams a Chance" and the person who  purchased their Powerball ticket Wednesday night at Jack's Friendly Sunoco at 152 Passaic Avenue, across from the Essex County Airport, is $1 million dollar richer this morning. Not only that, a winning $10,000 ticket was also apparently sold there as well last night.

According to the NJ Lottery's announcement today, "Jacks Friendly Service proved to be a very lucky location! The winning $1,000,000 ticket and one of the $10,000 winning tickets were both purchased at this “lucky” retailer location."

"Wow - big news!" commented Kimberly Moore-Huff of West Caldwell. "It would be still bigger news if it was me!" she laughed.

Owner Jack Tabibian told TAP that the officials from the NJ Lottery walked into his station's store this morning around 9am to let him know that he had sold the $1 million Powerball ticket the evening before. "I don't think they know yet who has won, no one has come forward."

The officials checked the lottery machine thoroughly this morning. "They came in here and inspected to make sure everything was done legitimately and properly," added the owner.

Tabibian recalled selling a $50,000 winning ticket about 10 years ago. "We've been selling tickets for the past twenty years," commented Tabibian. "We've had a good amount of winners, but this is our first Powerball win."

The winning numbers were:
 3, 14, 20, 34 and 48
The Powerball chosen was 21

Last night's winner matched all 5 numbers, but not the Powerball number.

The Powerball jackpot will roll to $103 million for the next drawing, which will be held on Saturday, Mar. 2 at 11pm.

“Congratulations to all of these fortunate lottery players who purchased the winning tickets and to the retailers who sold them,” said the Lottery's Executive Director Carole Hedinger. “For selling the $1,000,000 and the $10,000 winning tickets, these retailers have become five more of the Lottery's ‘lucky locations' overnight.”

Tabibian explained that he called his business "Jack's Friendly Sunoco" for a reason: "We always wish our customers good luck; that's why I called it Friendly!"

Earlier today, the lottery commission put out the following announcement:

The Powerball game structure produced one more New Jersey millionaire when that player matched the 5 white balls selected in the Wednesday, Feb. 27 drawing. If that player had added the Power Play feature to his or her ticket purchase, the win would have doubled to $2 million.

Jacks Friendly Service, 152 Passaic Ave., Fairfield in Essex County proved to be a very lucky location! The winning $1,000,000 ticket and one of the $10,000 winning tickets were both purchased at this “lucky” retailer location.

The New Jersey Lottery also had four other lucky players win the Powerball third prize of $10,000 each that were purchased at the following locations: Roebling Liquor Mart, 635 So. Clinton Ave., Trenton, Mercer County; Krauszer's Food Store, 3193 Washington Rd., Parlin, Middlesex County; Prices Wines & Liquor, 130 Wyckoff Rd., Eatontown, Monmouth County; New Egypt Market Place, 53 Main St., New Egypt, Ocean County.

Along with the second and third tier New Jersey prize winners of the Powerball game for the Wednesday, Feb. 27 drawing , 25,771 New Jersey Lottery players took home an estimated $145,843 in prizes ranging from $4 to $200, according to Lottery Executive Director Carole Hedinger.
