FANWOOD, NJ – Ivy Educational Services held the grand opening of their new offices in Fanwood Crossing on Saturday, with Fanwood Mayor Colleen Mahr cutting the ribbon and officially welcoming the new business to town.
Partners Jacquie Byrne and Nicole Oringer began their odyssey nine years ago when they opened up their business in an office behind the Stagehouse in Scotch Plains.
“While we loved our time behind the Stagehouse, the space was not enough so this new office allows us to be handicapped accessible and allows for more private tutoring spaces,” said Byrne.
Ivy Educational Services offers both college counseling and test preparation, with services for all ages from K to 12 all the way through post graduate.
“About 30 percent of our students have learning challenges and we are really proud of our record for helping students who need creative approaches to learning,” said Byrne. “We help students explore college options, prepare for standardized tests, improve study skills and we supplement curriculum subjects as well.”
By offering all these aspects, the partners at Ivy Ed feel that they can help families cut down on stress and they are better able to help students with all aspects of their current and future educational needs.
Ivy Educational Services is located at 250 South Avenue in Fanwood. For more information, please go to their website at http://ivyed.net
