Injured Cop Gets $7,500

PATERSON, NJ - A police officer injured in a motor vehicle acccident in 2010 will get a $7,500 workers compensation settlement, under a resolution approved by the city council on September 18.
The officer, Ricky Colon, injured his lower back when he was struck by a vehicle that did not stop at a stop sign, the resolution said.
