“When you’re losing someone it’s like getting stabbed straight through your soul. Death is a big thing that people don’t really like to bring up because they think it might make it worse. But really it also might make you feel better to talk about it, to get those feelings out of your system. That's what we do here at Imagine.” Bryce
When you’re losing someone it’s like getting stabbed straight through your soul. Bryce was five when his mom was diagnosed with cancer and 12 when she died. His family came to Imagine a month after her death. Bryce, his sister Bryanna, and their dad David have been attending Imagine now for 16 months. They say “nothing would keep us from our Night of Support. As a family, and with our new friends from Imagine, we are figuring out a path of healing together.”
152 children and adults from 37 towns are currently being served at Imagine and no family is ever charged a fee. Every gift made to Imagine, regardless of the amount, benefits and has a direct impact on the children and families we serve. Families like Cheryl Gallagher of Westfield and her two children Jessica and Brenden, pictured here.
Imagine is grateful to Short Hills interior designer, donor and Imagine Business Partner Amy Yin Interiors of Short Hills who are providing a match of up to $10,000 for every dollar raised during our year end appeal. To make a secure online donation visit our website at www.imaginenj.org/donate.
