Houzz Party at Knoll’s Manhattan Showroom Attracts Building and Architecture firms from Millburn

New York, NY - The iconic furniture design firm, Knoll, Inc.'s midtown showroom was the venue of choice for Houzz.com's recent social mixer. 

Cliff Geissler, of  Geiss  Custom Builders, as well as  Dan Kelly, Kyle Stevens and Laura Brooks, Project Designers from the Architectural firm of  Thomas Baio, all of Millburn, attended the event which attracted architects, builders, custom cabinet and furniture designers from the Metro NYC area.  

Michael Stein of the Houzz Community team reported on the results of the company’s third annual Houzz & Home survey which included more than 135,000 respondents from the U.S. chiming in on home buying and renovation.  (Bottom line: Home Remodeling Trumps Moving).

Ranked as one of the top 200 websites in the United States, Houzz.com is one of the fastest growing online communities, with millions of photos of residential interior, exterior and landscape designs.

Homeowners browse photos on Houzz by room, style and location, and bookmark photos in personal collections the site calls “ideabooks."  The Houzz platform and mobile apps also features articles written by architects, interior designers and home design experts, product recommendations, and a user forum. The company was founded in 2009 and is based in Palo Alto, California.  

Knoll, Inc is a design firm that produces office systems, seating, files and storage, tables and desks, textiles (KnollTextiles), and accessories for the office, home, and higher education settings. Knoll designs can be found in the permanent design collection of The Museum of Modern Art in New York City.
