Seventh grade students from the Hey Class of Temple B'nai Abraham's religious school had the  opportunity to hear Holocaust survivor Gina Lanceter tell her incredible and mesmerizing survival story. Ms. Lanceter, originally from Poland and now of Montclair, shared with students that, through courage, determination, wits and luck, she was able to survive during the Holocaust. Enthralled with her and her story,  the entire Hey Class wanted to be in a photo with Ms. Lanceter as they viewed her as a very special “celebrity." She is holding a replica of the moving cattle car window through which her parents pushed her before tumbling to the ground and being shot at by German soldiers.
