PATERSON, NJ - On October 6 and 7, historic sites, museums, cultural centers and other attractions all over Passaic County will be participating in History Fair weekend, an annual event highlighting the rich historical and cultural heritage of the area. The fair is your chance to take advantage of free admission at some of the County’s most historic places, as well as specially designed exhibits, tours, discussions and other events.

This year’s list of participants will include The American Labor Museum (Botto House) in Haledon, the Hamilton House in Clifton, Lambert Castle in Paterson, the Paterson Museum, and the Paterson Public Library. Tours and other programming will be offered at the West Milford Musuem, Ringwood Manor, The Ivanhoe Wheel House Museum in Paterson, the Hamiltion House in Clifton, and America's newest National Historical Park, the Paterson Great Falls.

Other organizations from around the county will install displays and make information available at the Paterson Museum, while Lambert Castle will host several speakers and an overnight Civil War encampment.

For the first time, a History Fair Shuttle will be available for free transportation between Lambert Castle, the Paterson Museum, the American Labor Museum, and Hamilton House.

Information on History Fair programming, as well as links to all the participating organizations, can be found at passaiccountyhistory.org.
