Historically Successful Summit H.S. Girls LAX Season Yields Slew of Individual Honors; Glynn, Szynal, Gramigna Named All Americans

SUMMIT, NJ - A season which saw the Summit High School Girls Varsity Lacrosse Team power to a 21-2 record, reach the Tournament of Champions Final for the first time ever, and winning the County, Sectional and Group titles in the process, has deservedly produced myriad honors for many of its team members.

Junior Kady Glynn and sophomore Sara Szynal have been named First Team All Americans by US Lacrosse, with senior Madeleine Gramigna selected as All American, Honorable Mention.
 
Summit, which concluded it season ranked second in the state -- and 14th in the nation --- by laxpower.com, had the following Hilltoppers named to All Conference, All County, and All State squads:

In addition, the following players were named Academic All Americans by US Lacrosse:

Under the guidance of Head Coach Mike Walsh, Summit's county championship was its sixth consecutive title, and the Sectional and Group crowns were each the second consecutive such wins for the program.
