Earlier this school year Hilltop’s Chorus auditioned for a new and exciting performance opportunity offered by the PEAK Performance Company. Through a detailed selection process, the PEAK Performance directors selected Hilltop’s Chorus and seventeen other Middle and High School choirs to perform during a four-week period at the “Dare to Dream 80th floor exhibit” of the Empire State Building.

Without a doubt, the New York City performance opportunity at one of the nation’s most iconic buildings was a truly unique and memorable experience for Hilltop’s Chorus members and their music teacher, Denise DeLeo and accompanist Laura Petrie.

Selections included “Pick-a- Little”, “Bella Notte”, “Christmas Rush”, “Velvet Shoes”, “Johnny One Note”, “Carol from an Irish Cabin” and “Oh Be Joyful!”

After the performance the students were given a tour the “Dare to Dream” exhibit and Observation Deck.
