Help Paige find her Forever Home
Wednesday, September 5, 2012 • 11:02pm
Ten week old black Labrador retriever mix needs a home, will it be yours?
Paige is 10 weeks old. When she came to New Jersey off a transport from Georgia, she was very lethargic and on the brink of death with a 104.7 fever. After several days of antibiotics and IV fluids she turned around.
Once she began to run and play, it was noticed that she was walking with a slight limp. After a series of x-rays it was determined that she had a broken bone in her leg and is having leg surgery at Garden State Veterinary Specialist, in Tinton Falls in September to repair her leg so that she can live a normal, happy and healthy life.
Her foster mom says she is the sweetest dog she has ever fostered. She loves her four- legged foster sister, cats and all children.
For more information on Paige or any of the other dogs available through Home for Good Dog Rescue visit the Home for Good website, call (908) 598-8212 or email contacthfg@gmail.com.
