Help Mel find his Forever Home
Wednesday, March 20, 2013 • 5:33pm
Mel is a playful and loving 3-year old Chihuahua. He weighs 9 pounds. Mel was rescued from a home where he was abused. As a result, he is initially timid and cautious around strangers and needs time to trust new people. Once he does, he is totally devoted. Mel will be a great companion for someone looking for a small dog. He is very low maintenance.
Mel is the perfect lap dog for a couple or older person. Sleeping in your lap is one of his favorite activities. He is crate trained. At night he buries himself in his blanket and sleeps all night long. Mel is house broken, neutered, and up-to-date with his routine shots. Mel is an all-around great pet. He is loyal and loves other dogs and cats. Mel walks nicely on a leash and he takes treats gently from your hand while happily wagging his tail. This cute little guy is full of love.
