BERKELEY HEIGHTS, NJ - For the first time in three years, kids in Berkeley Heights are spending their first Halloween back on the streets trick-or-treating. Last year, Berkeley Heights streets were flooded after Superstorm Sandy. Two years ago, there was a snowstorm.
A little drizzle didn't dampen the Halloween Parades at all of the elementary schools with children dressed up as zombies, witches, super heroes and their favorite characters while teachers dressed in theme. The class parents put together fun celebrations for the kids including traditional games of mummie wrap, guess the monster parts, crafts and treats.
The Alternative Press of Berkeley Heights hopes that all had a Spooktacular Safe Halloween.
