LIVINGSTON, NJ – Gov. Chris Christie made a pit stop this afternoon at a Livingston hometown fixture, the Ritz Diner, as part of his campaign trail.

Christie was seen traveling around the Ritz, shaking hands with local citizens and thanking them for their support.

Christie has now been to Livingston at least three times in 2013 for either a special event or to campaign.   At his first appearance in April, Christie spoke at the Livingston Bicentennial First Meeting celebration and told his fellow Livingstonians this:

“If my mom and dad didn’t make the sacrifice to move here I wouldn’t be standing here as the Governor of New Jersey. Livingston is a place where people are raised for success. Who I am and what I’ve become and this place are indivisible… and I hope you will inspire a fourth, fifth and sixth [Livingston] Governor.”
