PATERSON, NJ – Garrett Mountain Reservation remains closed in the aftermath of the late October snowstorm that hit New Jersey.

A story on northjersey.com said parks officials deemed the reservation a safety hazard, until debris from the storm could be cleared.

For now, the entrance gates are locked and sheriff's officers patrol the roads inside, the story said.
