BERKELEY HEIGHTS, NJ - Garden of Eden grocery store General Manager Robert Rosa is letting everyone in the Berkeley Heights area know that the store at 501 Springfield Avenue is open, and has not closed as originally planned.  “We’ve read survey answers and comments that our customers were kind enough to give us, and we are working on creating more value.  We’re open, and we’re focusing on lowering prices on the everyday staple items that you need.  Our goal is for people who shop here to feel that they don’t have to make another stop at a second grocery store.  Gas costs money, so why should our customers waste it driving around from our store to another one?”

While Garden of Eden specializes in gourmet, organic, and natural foods that promote health and wellness, the grocery store also stocks a full array of standard products and household items from paper towels to cleaning needs to trash bags to hair care products.  Garden of Eden also has the unique distinction of providing grocery deliveries within a 10-mile area of Berkeley Heights at no extra cost for orders of $50 or more.

Rosa also announced the Berkeley Heights store will be implementing a program for shoppers who bring a new customer to the store who has never shopped there before.  If both do their shopping in the store, a discount will apply to the existing customer, and the new customer.  “Our customers have told us how much they value our store, and that we need to do more to spread the word about what we offer and specialize in.  So, we’re going to start with a program that directly rewards our existing customers for helping us do just that.  We’ll be announcing the specific details shortly.”
