MADISON, NJ - While power is being restored in Madison and both Madison and Chatham have power downtown, gas is in short supply in the Chatham and Madison areas and beyond.

The Sunoco station at Kings Road and Green Avenue is closed; the Shell station in Main Street is open -- police are on the scene directing traffic.

The Shell station in Chatham has a sign saying "no gas." None of the gas stations between Madison and Chatham on Main Street are open.

The Stop & Shop in Madison is open, as is the Whole Foods. Kings in Chatham is still without power.

Power has been restored to Madison and Chatham downtown businesses, and most are open.

Traffic lights are still out in parts of Madison.
