SUMMIT- The Connection is offering two FREE adult fitness workshops this fall, open to the public.
Discover The FeldenKrais Method with instructor Yasmin Ofek. Reconnect with your natural ability to move and feel in this FREE workshop, “Mind & Body Movement” on Sunday, September 22nd from 2:00-4:30pm. Ease discomfort, improve joint flexibility, posture, confidence, and body awareness with this internationally recognized therapy program for people of all ages.
Students engage in precisely structured movement exploration in this workshop. Comfortable, easy movements gradually transition to movements with greater range and complexity. Mind & Body Movement aims to make students aware of habitual neuromuscular patterns and to then expand options for choosing more functional and safe ways of moving. This class is gentle, safe, and immediately effective!
Looking to break out of your normal workout routine? Join Wellness Specialist and Personal Trainer, Neil Hingorani for “4 Fit Fridays”. Take your workout to a new level with a different high intensity interval class for four Fridays, September 20th – October 11th from 5:00 – 6:00 pm.
Burn more calories with cumulative sets of timed intervals of cardio and strength training. Each week offers a new challenging class including: Boot Camp, Jump Rope and Pimp, Body Blast Intervals, Cardio Kickboxing, and more!
4 Fit Fridays and Mind & Body Movement are both FREE workshops and open to the public. Membership is not required. To register, stop by 79 Maple Street in Summit or call 908-273-4242.
