SUSSEX, NJ – Franklin Sussex Auto Mall continues in its tradition of serving the community, including this weekend for Memorial Day.

Yesterday, the dealership kicked off the holiday weekend yesterday with one of their free barbecues, something they do often for the community. And the dealership is offering special rebates as well for members of the military.

“For Memorial Day, we’re honoring our vets with increases in military rebates, and, offering great deals for people coming in for the weekend, today and Monday,” said Claude Jaillet, General Manager of Franklin Sussex Auto Mall.

Incentives include savings for veterans who are either active, or with an honorable military discharge, for an additional $500 off of a vehicle purchase. For veterans with 20 years or more service, there is an additional $1,000 off of the price.

During the weekend, anyone who test drives a vehicle, will be eligible to enter into a bean bag toss game for a chance to win $1,000.

Jaillet said the Jeep Liberty is one vehicle being offered with incentives, with over $6,000 off the manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP). And the Dodge Caliber, which is on sale for around $113,700.

The Memorial Day Sales event is one of the biggest sales events the dealership holds during the year.

Franklin Sussex Auto Mall aimed for a goal of becoming the number one Northeast Business Center, and also achieved it. Their trophy, which they received last month from Chrysler as the 2012 New Jersey State Champions, is on display in the showroom for members of the public to see.

Vicky and Bob Stanaback were two customers at Franklin Sussex Auto Mall who attended Saturday’s festivities. The Stanabacks, from Wantage, said they have just purchased their 14th car from Franklin Sussex Auto Mall. After purchasing their car, they sat to enjoy the barbecue, relax, and listen to the music being spun by DJ Eddie.

The Stanabacks said among their new and used vehicle purchases from the dealership, have been six Jeep Libertys, Jeep Cherokees, two Ford Explorers, and two vans.

“We like Jim Fisher,” the Stanabacks agreed about their salesman, who they have been working with over the last 16 years.

“The salespeople are great, and they offer the best deals around,” said Bob Stanaback. “He [Fisher] beat the other deals out there. The service is great, there’s been no problem in all of the years we’ve been dealing with these people.”

Franklin Sussex Auto Mall will be closed today, and will reopen on Monday at 8:30am.
