Thank you to the generosity of The Frances Davis Fund, Daughters of Israel, a senior care and rehabilitation facility based in West Orange, has created the “Frances Davis Garden,” a therapeutic multi-sensory outdoor space. The beautiful healing landscape provides a multitude of therapeutic benefits, including promoting serenity and tranquility.

Designed to stimulate all of the senses, the garden features a diverse array of flowers, herbs, and vegetables. Residents will be able to participate in tending to the garden throughout the warmer months, which enhances their feelings of self-esteem and productivity.

“As the weather warms, we make it a priority for our residents to be able to enjoy the outdoors,” remarked Susan Grosser, Executive Director. “The beautiful multi-sensory garden provides another relaxing space which also touts specific therapeutic benefits. We thank The Frances Davis Fund for its generosity in making this new addition to our Home possible.”
