Former West Orange PTA President Enters a Not Guilty Plea

WEST ORANGE, NJ - Deborah Sanchez, former PTA President of Mt. Pleasant School in West Orange, entered a 'not guilty' plea during an arraignment on August 3. Sanchez, indicted July 11 on one count of second degree theft and one count of third degree forgery, is scheduled to go before Judge Leath on October 11 and is currently preparing an application for a pre-trial intervention program. Her attorney is Vincent Nuzzi.
Although exact figures have fluctuated, the approximate amount Sanchez is accused of taking from the PTA is at least $100,000.00.
