Former Summit Lacrosse Stars Play in Penn/Villanova Lacrosse Game at Whitman's Independence Classic

PHILADELPHIA, PA - On Saturday, former Summit lacrosse stars played on both sides of the Penn v. Villanova lacrosse match at Philadelphia's PPL Park in the middle game of the Whitman's Sampler Independence Classic that featured three top D1 lacrosse games: Syracuse vs St. Johns, Penn vs Villanova and Penn State vs Lehigh.

Villanova fell to Penn 13-9 in a game that featured five tied scores.  The two squads were knotted up for much of the contest before Penn pulled away in the second half by outscoring Villanova 6-2 in the final 30 minutes of play.  Other Summit players on the teams were Villanova's #28 Michael Tsiang  and  Penn's #9 Brian Feeney, and #44 David Kalin.
