STILLWATER, NJ - Join local farmer James Grenewicz for a guided tour of "Goodness Grows," an agroecological farm located in historic Stillwater. The tour will include a foraging hunt with special guest Dan Dhanji Farella, a talented forager, herbalist, & musician with "Return to Nature" http://returntonature.us/about-rtn/ . Dan will share his expertise on Nature's abundance, an often overlooked resource, as we forage for wild edibles and healing native plants with the intention of enhancing our awareness of and reconnection to the land that surrounds us. He will discuss traditional methods of treating ailments with homemade herbal remedies as well as the preparation of wild foods. Attendees are encouraged to bring a camera and notepad to document this outstanding learning opportunity.

Farmer James will then lead a tour of his production areas and provide an introduction to Solidarity CSA (Community Supported Agriculture); a voluntary interdependent relationship where a community member pledges financial support to the farm in exchange for a weekly share of the harvest: ultra-fresh, seasonal produce and pasture raised, organically fed chicken eggs, all raised without toxic chemicals, synthetic fertilizers, GMO's, or antibiotics. Learn how you can participate in building a resilient local food system that values integrity, transparency, safety, and community. Visit http://goodnessgrows.csasignup.com/

The event will be followed by a food tasting, including wild edibles, farm grown produce and eggs, and homemade dressings. Please bring your own beverages and  hangout for an informal meet & greet. Be advised the farm has steep slopes, rough and muddy terrain that may not be accessible to all. There is a $20 suggested donation to accommodate our special guest. To RSVP or request additional info, please contact James @ 973-919-6422 or goodnessgrows@centurylink.net.
