Fire Rips Through Clyne & Murphy Catering in Downtown Westfield; Firefighter Injured

WESTFIELD, NJ - FIrefighters are still on the scene of a blaze that tore through a catering restaurant in downtown Westfield late Sunday afternoon.
The six-alarm fire broke out in Clyne & Murphy Catering, 439 South Avenue West, where flames and smoke were reported coming through the roof. One firefighter was reportedly injured.
Several other businesses were destroyed in the blaze.
Fire Departments from Berkeley Heights, New Providence, Elizabeth, Cranford, Scotch Plains-Fanwood, Roselle, Roselle Park, Mountainside and Garwood provided mutual aid.
