Find Find Out What Not to Eat at Scotch Plains Public Library

In the past thirty years, changes in the American diet have contributed to a rising incidence of obesity in the adult population. On Thursday, February 21 at 7:30 PM, Richard Perlmutter will speak at Scotch Plains Public Library about the foods and food preparation methods that pack on the pounds, as well as dietary choices we can make to prevent weight gain and maintain health.
Richard Perlmutter is the founder of Abington Nutrition Services LLC, a nutrition labeling firm. He is a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. He has authored peer-reviewed articles and newspaper columns, and has taught courses on nutrition.
