Feb. 23: Vision Screening Event at Eastside

PATERSON, NJ – City children can get their eyes examined on Sat., Feb. 23 in an event at the Eastside education complex that’s being sponsored by three school board members.
The event will run from 9 am until 4 pm. The first 50 children without insurance will be able to get free exams as well as free eyeglasses, according to School Board President Christopher Irving, one of the three sponsors. The others are Commissioners Chrystal Cleaves and Alex Mendez.
