Fanwood Council Names Volunteer of the Month

FANWOOD, NJ - The Fanwood Council named local resident David Blechinger as the Volunterr of the month for September.
'When David approached me about doing a Performing Arts Series at the Patricia M. Kuran Cultural Arts Center, I thought it was a great idea," said Mayor Colleen Mahr. "He really got everyone to band together and off they went. He got a team together, and he single handedly made sure we got a marquee in on the lawn of Borough Hall."
"I really could not have done this without the support of the Mayor," said David Blechinger. "The Performing Arts Series has been far more successful than we ever expected, and we thank everyone for their support."
The next performance of the Performing Arts Series will be on Saturday, October 13.
