FANWOOD, NJ – George Weiss was named volunteer of the month at the Fanwood Council Meeting in recognition of his work as videographer, editor and director for Fanwood Community Television seen on Comcast channel 35 and Fios channel 24.  

Councilman Mike Szuch and Mayor Colleen Mahr presented a print of the historic Fanwood train station to George as a token of appreciation at the May council meeting. George receives a small stipend for his work for the Borough but does so much that is above and beyond the call of duty that the council decided to name him Volunteer of the Month.
