Fanwood Business and Professional Association Shares Ideas On Best Practices At The Chelsea

FANWOOD, NJ - In a last minute twist of fate, the originally planned motivational speaker, Red Katz, couldn’t attend The Fanwood Business and Professional Association meeting this past Tuesday night.
Instead, the FBPA President, Tracy Constandi, took the reins and turned the meeting into an engaging and interactive exchange of best practices among the professionals who attended.
The room was divided into groups and each group was asked to give specific and real life examples of how to increase community outreach, improve marketing, increase employee retention and morale and improve customer service.
Tracy commented that she, “thought the meeting went very well. It was great to see all of the local business owners sharing ideas and information with each other. I had the group divide up into 5 focus groups, and each group brainstormed new ideas and shared their ideas on a particular topic – it was very interactive. In addition, I shared some of the important business & marketing ideas that I truly feel are key to succeeding in business. I chose to do this because as different as each of our businesses are, we are all here in the community for the same reasons. I want all of our local businesses to thrive and succeed; after all, if our businesses thrive, so will our communities.”
“Tracy, as the President of the Fanwood BPA, is really a dynamic leader. I appreciated how she took an event with a cancelled speaker and turned it into a fun learning experience for everyone. I’m glad I joined!" said Joan Dickason, of Fanwood based Crossroads Nutrition.
