MADISON, NJ - On Saturday, Oct. 26, the “Halloween Hoopla” will begin.
The Madison Chamber of Commerce welcomes children and their families to attend the Halloween costume parade. Those who wish to participate shall gather at Green Village Road field on Kings Road, and the parade will leave the field at 12:30 p.m. sharp. It will finish at Waverly Place.
From 1 to 1:30 p.m., a magic show will follow and be held at the corner of Lincoln Place and Waverly Place. Should it rain, the show will be held in the gymnasium at The Madison Junior School, 160 Main St.
“I think it’s going to be really exciting for the kids, said Executive Director Karen Meyer. Madison PhotoPlus at 40 Main St. has generously offered to take a free photo of every child in costume,” she said.
After the magic show, children are invited to trick or treat throughout the downtown business area. For those stores participating, there will be a bright orange and black jack-o-lantern in their windows.
Details regarding photos will be made available by Madison PhotoPlus the day of the event.
